1. Overview & Rental Terms
- Services Provided: Rent Appliances In Utah provides residential appliance rentals (including washers, dryers, and sets) along with delivery, installation, maintenance, and pickup services within designated Utah service areas.
- Minimum Commitment: Unless otherwise stated in your specific agreement, standard rental agreements carry a 6-month minimum term. Following the initial term, your account automatically transitions to a flexible month-to-month arrangement until proper cancellation or pickup is scheduled.
- Rent-to-Own: Rent-to-own options may be made available upon request and will be governed by a separate written additive agreement signed prior to delivery.
2. Payments & Billing
- Payment Method: All recurring rental payments must be made using an approved credit card, debit card, or authorized electronic payment service.
- Billing Schedule: Your first payment is collected on or before the day of installation. Subsequent payments are automatically charged monthly on the same recurring calendar date as your delivery day.
- Non-Payment & Default: Failure to process monthly payments on time may result in late fees, service interruption, or collection/repossession of the rented equipment.
3. Equipment Care, Maintenance & Repairs
- Maintenance Covered: Normal wear and tear, mechanical failures, and functional maintenance are fully covered under your rental agreement at no additional charge.
- Customer Responsibility: You agree to maintain the appliance in good, clean condition and operate it only according to normal residential use. You are strictly responsible for physical damage, theft, fire, or repairs resulting from misuse, alteration, or negligence.
- Property Access: In the event of a scheduled repair, swap, or return, you agree to grant authorized representatives of Rent Appliances In Utah reasonable access to the property where the unit is installed.
4. Cancellations & Returns
- Cancellation Notice: After fulfilling your initial minimum commitment, you may cancel your rental by contacting us at least 14 days prior to your next billing cycle to schedule equipment pickup.
- Pickup: All appliances remain the sole property of Rent Appliances In Utah until fully paid off under an authorized Rent-to-Own contract. You must allow our staff to inspect and collect the equipment upon lease termination.
5. Limitation of Liability
Rent Appliances In Utah is not liable for secondary damages, including but not limited to clothing damage, property flooding caused by improper home plumbing/drainage connections outside our control, utility line failures, or indirect personal loss associated with equipment downtime.
